  We are finished with this place after being regular customers for several years now. A situation involving the wait staff has finally gone too far. It involves a pair of customers who come into the place a lot but the issue is the behaviour of the wait staff. Every time we have seen them come in, at least four or five of the wait staff come out to greet them and engage in personal conversation. We couldn’t have cared less if that was where it stopped. But the past few times the wait staff have actually sat down and socialized with them, some in their white aprons. We find this very tacky and disrespectful to customers, in what is supposed to be a better establishment. If I wanted to sit around with the waiters I would get a job as a waiter.
  Several nights ago things got so bad I spoke to the manager. We sat down and the couple took the table next to us. The usual flurry of wait staff came out of the back to greet them, accompanied with the usual effusive, gushing hug-fest. We didn’t care about that until our own waitress actually sat down at their table with her back to us, while our dishes were needing to be cleared and we still hadn’t gotten what we had ordered! They were all so loud we felt we had stepped into a frat party and we couldn’t hear our own conversation.
  The whole situation deteriorated after that. As the husband got his second martini polished off, he began demanding “group hugs” upon which the two waitresses who were still at their table obliged and got up to give him full body hugs. He then started groping at them, which they didn’t seem to mind a bit. If I wanted to see this kind of behaviour I would go to a strip bar.
  The manager must have told them something because they stopped sitting at the table but continued to stand around socializing until we left. We couldn’t help but wonder what other customers were being ignored while this went on.
  We have been VERY regular customers there until now and obviously we will not be back, particularly because we had to send our bread back after we complained as someone had clearly, let’s just say, ‘tampered’ with it. So be aware if you complain at this location they will subject you to “kitchen punishment”.

  I came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. The food was delicious! It was just right and I just loved it! I recommend coming here for a celebration if you'd like to.The staff was very kind, we got the menu about 10 seconds after we were seated.

  OMG My wife and I just read Brad Daniel’s review from a month ago….and just howled…LOVED it! We have seen the couple he wrote about and the “strip club” behaviour at the Oakville location more than once and were really baffled that management was allowing it to go on. A white aproned server was slouched schmoozing with them in the bar and there was so much groping, hugging and gushing we really expected to see a lap dance next. Like the other reviewer we wouldn’t have minded so much if our own service had not suffered which it did. Guess there are some real needy folks out there who crave phony attention from wait staff, but as long as the Keg allows the wait staff to sit around and not do their job we wont be back too often.

  5 stars for the server Alex who was so friendly, helpful and personable. 3 stars for the food that is ok. Not over the top delicious but better than your average steak house. Except the Calamari was really good.
