  Great food at a reasonable price it has a nice mom and pop feel but is relatively small in size, they offer take out as well if you want to eat at home

  I just ordered through a popular mobile ordering service (won't say which as this is about the restaurant) for the first time. The restaurant taped the food containers shut so that they wouldn't open during transport, which really showed that they took pride in their work and put themselves into the shoes of the customer. On top of that they gave the amount of utensils that I asked for (believe it or not, most don't).
  
  The food was great! The poutine that I had was salty, which is exactly how I feel a poutine should be. The cheese curds were melted throughout and not just slapped on top like most other places, which really adds to the flavour. Others in the family ordered a burger and some fish and were raving about it.
  
  Now a days there are A LOT of food options, especially in the GTA most of which are really good. To me though, it's not as much about the food as it is the service and while I didn't actually visit their location, I got the sense that they actually cared and took pride in their work and held value to their customer happiness which is exactly why whenever I am having a craving for poutine, THIS is my place.

  Art's Fish & Chips is under new management as of Jan. 2016. Art's has always been superior to most fish & chip stores. My husband & I went there in early March 2016, and were pleased to see nothing had changed except the management. We went again today early May 2016 and boy how things have changed. Smaller order of fish and instead of the nice 4 oz pure white halibut. There was that brownish part left on the fish. The batter was soft and greasy instead of crisp. The fries were definitely not the same either. Fish & Chips are expensive and cutting back on quality is not the way to stay in business. People that buy a business and change what made the business profitable would be well advised to keep the quality up if they want that business to be a success..

  Just ordered delivery through Skip the Dishes and this almost reminds me of the chip trucks back home, the Poutine is great and so are the onions rings, I'll definitely be ordering from here again

  Great environment, great food, both at a reasonable price. Not a lot of seating, so not the best choice for large get togethers.
